Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup of long-grain rice white rice or basmati rice
  • ΒΌ cup of fresh lemon juice
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 8 cups of chicken

Instructions
 

  • Heat broth in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
  • Add fresh lemon juice, thyme, bay leaves, and salt to the pot.
  • Take the mix to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes to blend flavors.
  • Add rice to the simmering broth.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Check rice for doneness and adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Take away bay leaves and thyme sprigs before serving.
