Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • ½ cup frozen or fresh pineapple chunks
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup almond milk or any milk of choice
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt optional for extra creaminess
  • A handful of ice if using fresh fruit

Instructions

  • Peel and slice the banana. If using fresh pineapple, chop it into small chunks.
  • In a blender, add the almond milk first to ensure smooth blending. Then add the banana, pineapple, peanut butter, and Greek yogurt if using.
  • Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk. For a thicker smoothie, add more ice or frozen fruit.
  • Pour the smoothie into a glass or bowl and garnish with extra fruit or a drizzle of peanut butter if desired.

Notes

  • For an other variation, add Greek yogurt. Adjust the consistency with more almond milk for a thinner smoothie, or use frozen fruit for a thicker texture.
