Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz kielbasa sausage sliced into ¼-inch rounds
  • 10 oz penne or rotini pasta
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or extra Parmesan for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Ingredients: Slice the kielbasa into rounds and mince the garlic. Grate the Parmesan and set aside.
  • Sear the Kielbasa: In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the kielbasa slices and sear for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • Make the Sauce: Add the chicken broth and heavy cream to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and whisk in the Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
  • Cook the Pasta: While the sauce simmers, cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Combine Everything: Add the cooked pasta and seared kielbasa to the skillet. Toss everything together to ensure the pasta is well coated with the creamy sauce.
  • Serve: Garnish with extra Parmesan or fresh parsley for a burst of flavor and color. Serve immediately and enjoy!
