Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon juiced (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Chicken: Place each chicken breast between two sheets of plastic wrap or parchment paper. Use a meat mallet or rolling pin to gently pound the chicken to an even thickness of about 1/4 inch. This ensures even cooking.
  • Marinate the Chicken: In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken breasts. If desired, add the lemon juice for extra flavor. Let the chicken marinate for at least 10 minutes or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  • Cook the Chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a little olive oil if necessary. Once the pan is hot, add the chicken breasts. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
  • Rest the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices and keeps the chicken tender.

Notes

 For added flavor, try marinating the chicken overnight. This recipe is also great for meal prepping—just store the cooked chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
